In my previous post I highlighted the two runway shows on Thursday March 18 that will feature the bulk of LMFF’s menswear. I’ve given the schedule a thorough scouring and discovered some more designers who will be showing menswear as part of their collections.
Lui Hon is one of the finalists for this year’s LMFF Designer Award presented by Woolmark and supported by Vogue Australia, and his work will be included in the runway presentation before the winner is announced on Tuesday March 16 at Atlantic. He’s also showing in the LMFF Independent Runway presented by Network Ten show on Saturday March 20 at Peninsula.
Also featuring menswear in the LMFF Independent Runway show, which is the place to see fashion’s next generation, are three more Melbourne labels. Remember these names:
• Who am Eye – designers Johnny Leong and Glenn Cameron
• Of Cabbages & Kings – designers Tane Andrews and Kira Goodey
• Papillon Homme Femme – designers Nihal Bhagwandas and Mark Pereira
Extinct will be showing menswear in its presentation during L’Oréal Paris Runway 5 presented by Cosmopolitan on Thursday March 18 at Peninsula.
Jeanwest is showing off what it has in store for the boys in LMFF Fashion Collections 4 presented by the City of Stonnington at Malvern Town Hall on Friday March19.
Tickets to all these shows are still available. Tickets through Ticketmaster.
